The duration of this piece is five years.

The piece starts on 1 January 2013.

The first event occurs between 1 January 2013 and 31 December 2013.

The second event occurs between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2014.

The third event occurs between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2015.

The fourth event occurs between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2016.

The fifth event occurs between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017.

Each event is a concert to which an audience is invited and in which The Action (described below) is performed.

Nothing else must be performed at the event.

Apart from The Action, the event should be silent.

The Action can be performed at any time during the event, but it must be performed.

An event must last at least one day in length.

Each consecutive event must be longer than the previous one.

Each event must be performed in a different place.

The price of entry to the first event is €1.

The price of entry to the second event is €10.

The price of entry to the third event is €100.

The price of entry to the fourth event is €1000.

The price of entry to the fifth event is €10,000.

Audio recordings should be made of each event and sold according to the following price equation:

Length of event that had elapsed before The Action took place (seconds) = l

x = c x (l/e)

The price of the medium used to record the event, or re-produce the recording, should increase with each consecutive event.

Preparation for each event

Compose a piece.

Make the score by hand.

Do not make any copies.

Do not show anybody the score.

The score for each event should be different, and be written/engraved/carved/burnt etc. onto a different medium.

Destroy the score

As quietly as possible.

A different method of destruction should be utilized for each event

This piece must never be repeated.
